You can also book site visits for site meetings to resolve design issues or to conduct an assessment for a compliance statement in accordance with the DA conditions of consent or the requirements for Complying development.
Bushfire Attack Level Certificates provide a formal assessment of the potential Radiant Heat exposure on the proposed or existing development. They are primarily used as part of the Complying Development process along with a report demonstrating compliance with the requirements of Planning for Bushfire Protection under the Codes SEPP.
Compliance Statements
Compliance statements provide consent authorities with an assessment of compliance of the finished project in accordance with the DA conditions of consent or the requirements for Exempt and Complying development and Planning for Bushfire Protection under the Codes SEPP.
A single dwelling Bushfire Assessment Report provides consent authorities with an assessment for the approval of: a single new or existing unapproved dwelling; alteration or additions to an existing dwelling; or, complying development. They can also be used to provide a pre-purchase bushfire assessment and NCC bushfire compliance reports for insurance repairs under the exempt and complying development pathway.
Multi‑dwelling Bushfire Assessment Reports provide consent authorities with an assessment for approval of a new dwelling or dwellings on existing lots which already contain one or more dwellings, including:
dual occupancy; multi‑dwelling housing; secondary dwellings;
rural workers dwellings; and,
boarding houses.
A commercial/industrial Bushfire Assessment Report provides consent authorities with an assessment for the approval of non-residential class 5-8 buildings, including development that is not used for residential purposes or may have a dual usage. All development on Bushfire Prone Land must meet the aims and objectives in relation to access, water supply and services, and emergency and evacuation planning.
Bushfire Assessment Report provides consent authorities with an assessment for the approval of developments such as schools, hospitals, nursing homes, tourist accommodation and camping grounds including primitive camping. These developments contain vulnerable occupants that may be more susceptible to the impacts of bush fire.
Bushfire Assessment Report provides consent authorities with an assessment for the approval of subdivision of land as the creation of lots for residential or rural residential purposes including boundary adjustments to ensure that appropriate Bushfire Protection Measures are identified and provided within the altered allotments at the design stage of development.
A Bushfire Strategic Study provides consent authorities with an assessment at the strategic planning scale to ensure that future land uses are in appropriate locations
to minimise the risk to life and property from bushfire attack. Services and infrastructure that facilitate effective suppression of bushfires also need to be
provided for at the earliest stages of planning.
